Kenya Tree Coral Peach (Capnella spp.)
The Kenya Tree Coral is very easy to keep and is often fast growing under the right conditions. It can easily be propagated by cutting a branch off and attaching it to a rock. They contain photosynthetic Zooxanthellate but need to be fed heavily as they derive most of their energy from planktonic feeding. Its diet should be supplemented with foods like marine snow or phytoplankton.
Tree Corals prefer moderate lighting and slow to medium water flow, but will adapt to a variety of conditions. It can be placed at any level in the tank, but care should be taken to place it away from from stony corals and sea anemones. It is semi-aggressive and may attack other corals if they are placed too close.
